Terms of Service

1. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18, or a parent or guardian accepting these terms and consenting to a minor’s use as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your credentials and private claim links secure. Contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

2. Research and decisions

Sift helps you research options and organize comparisons. AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. Source links and supporting quotes are not a guarantee of accuracy; Sift does not independently verify every submitted quote against its source page. Check original sources, prices and availability before acting. Sift does not buy compared products, place orders or make decisions for you.

3. Your content and sharing

You retain any ownership rights you have in content you submit. You give Sift permission to store, process and display that content as needed to provide the service, including through our service providers and the sharing choices you make. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it.

New spaces created through the ChatGPT plugin are viewable by anyone with their link, including before they are claimed. A view link does not grant edit access. Other people may copy content they can view. Avoid including private or sensitive information in shared spaces, and respect the access and content rights of other users.

4. Guests and ChatGPT connections

You can create a comparison as a guest without signing in. Claiming it saves the same space to your Sift account. Until then, guest editing depends on a private capability held by the connection; losing access to it may prevent you from continuing or claiming the space.

Connecting your account authorizes ChatGPT to read and change Sift spaces within the permissions granted to your account. Disconnect through Sift’s connection settings in ChatGPT. Disconnecting does not delete saved spaces or your account. Your use of ChatGPT is also subject to OpenAI’s terms and policies.

5. Plus subscriptions and billing

Plus is optional and provides a larger research allowance and the features shown on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions are purchased through Sift using Stripe. The price, billing interval and applicable charges are shown before you subscribe. A recurring subscription renews and charges your chosen payment method at the displayed interval until canceled.

You can cancel from your billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Plus access until the end of the period you paid for. For payment errors or refund requests, contact us. Any refund rights required by applicable law are preserved. The ChatGPT plugin does not collect payment-card details or process purchases.

6. Acceptable use

Use Sift lawfully. Do not infringe others’ rights, upload malicious content, harass others, attempt unauthorized access, defeat security controls or bypass usage limits. Do not submit passwords or payment-card details in research content. We may restrict access or remove content to address misuse, security risks or legal requirements.

7. Availability and ending use

Features and usage limits may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or other reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or particular research results. Keep copies of content important to you. You can stop using Sift at any time; cancel an active subscription separately to stop renewal. Contact us for account deletion or data requests.

8. Your rights and changes to these terms

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. We may update these terms and will identify the revision date on this page. Material changes will be communicated through the service or your account email before they take effect. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using Sift and cancel any recurring subscription.

9. Privacy and contact

Our privacy policy describes how we handle information, including guest comparisons, connected apps and payments. For support, billing questions, data requests or concerns about content, email contact@siftspace.com.
