Hamburg Oktoberfest

The biggest free Oktoberfest in the Buffalo area, run by volunteers in Hamburg's Memorial Park and now a fixture of the Southtowns fall calendar. Admission never costs anything, so you pay only for German food and beer, and it runs long enough to be either an afternoon with kids or a night out. 6th Annual Ale Trail & More

The general session ticket covers the tasting, and VIP adds an earlier hour and exclusive pours. It is a Friday night rather than a weekend afternoon, and it is indoors, which matters in late October.

Holiday Valley Beer and Wine Festival

Now in its twenty-second year, this is the region's big end-of-season tasting: more than fifty breweries, wineries, cideries and distilleries spread over three floors of the Holiday Valley main lodge in Ellicottville, with a different band on each.
