Craig Ranch Regional Park

The biggest and best-known dog park in North Las Vegas, set inside a 170-acre regional park off Craig Road. The dog area is fully fenced and split by size, with agility features like ramps and tunnels, water fountains with built-in dog bowls, and unusually good tree and canopy shade for the valley. Locals treat early mornings and evenings after 6 p.m. as the busy social hours. The trade-off is crowds: the surrounding park is busy with sports fields, a skate park and events.

Seastrand Park

The other off-leash option inside North Las Vegas itself, tucked into James K. Seastrand Park on Camino Eldorado. It is a single fenced run rather than a split enclosure, so big and small dogs share the same space. It keeps the longest hours of any park here, opening at 5 a.m. and staying open until midnight, which makes it the practical choice for a walk before or after the heat of a summer day. Shadow Rock Park

Barkin' Basin Park

It is purpose-built for dogs rather than a run bolted onto a sports complex. Watch the midweek maintenance closures, which take the runs out of service for several hours on Mondays and Thursdays.

Centennial Hills Park

Police Memorial Park

A quieter northwest park with three dog runs, including separate space for large and small dogs, plus fresh water on site. The rest of the park is built around a memorial walking path that passes groves of trees, a memorial wall and a sculpture, and dogs are welcome on it on-leash. There is a picnic area if you want to make a longer trip of it. The dog park closes Wednesday late mornings for maintenance.

Kellogg Zaher Sports Complex

The off-leash area inside a 96-acre sports park, with three dog runs divided by size, four dog fountains and grass underfoot. Reviewers describe a loyal regular crowd, which tends to keep the space cleaner than average. Park lighting means it stays usable well after dark, which matters in a Las Vegas summer. It is a busy complex overall, with eleven lighted soccer fields and a 2.44-mile track around the park.

Woofter Family Park

A recently renovated 7.55-acre neighborhood park in Twin Lakes whose dog area is split into runs for small and large dogs, with double-gated entries, lush grass, benches and dog fountains. It is not the largest off-leash space here, but it is one of the best kept, and a grass surface is a real advantage in a city where many runs are gravel. There is agility equipment too. The runs close Tuesday midday for maintenance.

Winding Trails Park

A smaller northwest neighborhood park whose dog area is separated into a small dog run and a large dog run. Beyond the dog park there are two playgrounds for different age groups, a splash pad and walking trails, so it works well if you are bringing children along. It is the farthest northwest option here, and published detail about its shade and water is thin.

Justice Myron E. Leavitt & Jaycee Community Park

The closest option to central Las Vegas, an 18-acre community park east of the Strip with dog runs, shade structures and agility obstacles. It is a straight run south from North Las Vegas, which makes it a reasonable stop rather than a destination. The park is heavily used for sports, with a lighted artificial turf soccer field plus bocce and pickleball courts.

Dog Fancier's Park

A Clark County park built for dog people rather than for general park use, with five enclosed areas, four of which can be reserved for training and agility practice. It sits next to Horseman's Park on the east side, so it is the longest drive here from North Las Vegas, and it earns the trip mainly if you want reservable training space rather than a casual romp.
