Phantom Canyon Brewing Co. has the largest private dining room on this list: the third-floor Canyon Room seats 130, in a downtown brewpub priced at $$. The smallest are the chef's table for 10 at Four by Brother Luck on North Tejon and the 12-seat room at Ristorante Del Lago at The Broadmoor.
Most rooms fall between 16 and 80 seats, and they sort by what kind of evening you are planning. The three $$$$ restaurants, Cowboy Star, Prime25 North and Summit at The Broadmoor, have rooms for 18 to 40. Two more big $$ rooms, ViewHouse (100) and Bourbon Brothers (80), are north-side party spaces with pub and smokehouse food. Uva Wine Bar carries the top diner rating at 4.8, but its private room holds 16.

Downtown, Old Colorado City, the north side or The Broadmoor
Downtown has three: MacKenzie's Chop House (50) in the Alamo Building on South Tejon, Phantom Canyon (130) at Pikes Peak and Cascade, and Four by Brother Luck (10). Old Colorado City has two in one building, Paravicini's (22) and Ristorante Di Sopra (75) upstairs. The Broadmoor contributes Summit (22) and Ristorante Del Lago (12).
The other six are north: Cowboy Star, La Bella Vita, ViewHouse, Prime25 North, Uva Wine Bar and Bourbon Brothers, the last a 20-minute drive from downtown at Polaris Pointe. Cowboy Star now sits at 5198 N Nevada Ave, not downtown, though several older roundups still place it there.
Set menus, guest minimums and gratuity
La Bella Vita spells out the strictest terms here: at least 16 guests (20 on a Friday or Saturday), a set private-dining menu, no-shows charged, a 20% gratuity, and no private dining on major holidays. Its Venetian Room has a flat-screen but no wifi, so bring an HDMI cable and a hotspot.
The pricier rooms fix the menu too. At Cowboy Star, parties of 15 or more order from a $100 or $125 prix fixe, and at Summit, groups over 12 pre-select menus when they book. Ristorante Del Lago's room books through The Broadmoor's private dining line rather than the restaurant.
When your party outgrows the private room
The capacity column counts the largest fully private room, so several places can take more people in another shape. Bourbon Brothers buys out at 364, Phantom Canyon's Billiards Hall takes 250 standing, Uva's full buyout with the patio reaches 145, and Cowboy Star's buyouts run 50 to 100. Paravicini's private Frank's Room seats 22, but its semi-private Goomba Room holds 40 in booths. MacKenzie's says its rooms seat up to 50, while Visit Colorado Springs puts its largest, the Club Room, at 40 banquet-seated, so a party of 45 should call first.

MacKenzie's Chop House
A downtown steakhouse in the historic Alamo Building on South Tejon, serving Colorado Springs since 1997, with three private rooms flanking the main dining room and bar. Reviewers keep coming back to the filet mignon and prime rib and to the service, though several note that the sports bar in the same building can undercut the upscale mood. Visit Colorado Springs lists the private spaces as the Club Room, the Dining Room and the Vault Room, the largest seating 40 at banquet tables. A practical pick for a business lunch or a pre-theater group that wants to stay walkable downtown.
Cowboy Star Restaurant & Butcher Shop
A contemporary American steakhouse with its own butcher shop attached, sourcing beef from independent family ranches and pairing it with a serious wine program. The single private dining room seats 18, or 15 when it is set up for a presentation, and parties of 15 or more order from a $100 or $125 prix fixe rather than the full menu. Phantom Canyon Brewing Co.

The third-floor Canyon Room seats 130 (and splits into the Two Moons and Cheyenne rooms), the Wheeler Room takes 30, and the first-floor Sunroom is a cosy 20-seat semi-private space beside the main restaurant. The second-floor Billiards Hall, the oldest in the city, can be rented for up to 250 standing. Food and beer are solid pub fare rather than a destination meal, so this is the choice when the group is big and the mood is casual.
Bourbon Brothers Smokehouse & Tavern
A Southern smokehouse and whiskey bar at Polaris Pointe on the far north side, built for groups. Three private spaces scale with the party: the Bourbon Room seats 30 with another 30 on its patio, the Library takes 25, and the Sun Room holds 80 (or 50 if you book only part of it). The whole restaurant can be reserved for as many as 364 people, which is the largest single room-plus-buyout capacity here. The catch is location: it is a 20-minute drive north of downtown, so it suits north-side or out-of-town groups better than a walk-from-the-hotel dinner.
Prime25 North
The newest and priciest room on this list, a north-side steakhouse with three named spaces: the Solarium, light-filled with a wine wall, seats 40; the Botanica, dark and wrapped in greenery, seats 24; and the Atrium, the main dining room, takes 50 for a full-venue booking. Its diner rating is the highest of any steakhouse here, though on a far smaller review count than the downtown veterans. Worth knowing that the sister restaurant, Prime25 South on South Tejon, is a separate address with its own reviews.
La Bella Vita Ristorante Italiano
A family Italian restaurant on Northpark Drive with one private room, the Venetian Room, seating 30 and fitted with a flat-screen for presentations (bring your own HDMI cable and hotspot: the room has no wifi). The rules are unusually explicit, and worth reading first: private dining needs at least 16 guests, 20 on a Friday or Saturday, the host chooses from a set private-dining menu, no-shows are still charged, and events carry a 20% gratuity. The room is not available on major holidays.
Paravicini's Italian Bistro
Old Colorado City's best-known Italian kitchen and, by review count, one of the most-rated restaurants in the city: gnocchi Bolognese, lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, done straightforwardly and well. Frank's Room seats 22 privately and has AV; the Goomba Room holds up to 40 in booths but is only semi-private. The West Colorado Avenue shops and galleries around it make it an easy place to gather a group before dinner.
Ristorante Di Sopra
Paravicini's dressier sister restaurant, upstairs in the same Old Colorado City building, with a menu that leans to cacio e pepe and lobster pappardelle. The upstairs room holds up to 75 and the covered patio, planted with lemon trees and open to cigars, can be split off as a separate space for about 20. They take advance bookings any day of the week, including a full-restaurant buyout, which is what the 75 figure really describes: this is a room you take over rather than a private room off a dining room.
Four by Brother Luck
Chef Brother Luck, of Chopped and Top Chef, cooks Southwestern-leaning food at this North Tejon restaurant. The private option is deliberately small: a chef's table for up to 10 in the Wine Room, with the chef and sommelier walking the table through the menu and pairings. Bigger groups have two other routes, a full buyout of the restaurant or the Studio above his Lucky Dumpling, an event space with a full kitchen and seating for 25. Choose it for a memorable dinner for ten, not for a crowd.
ViewHouse Colorado Springs
Less a restaurant with a private room than an events venue that serves food: a sprawling eatery, bar and rooftop off Campus Drive with Pikes Peak views, indoor and outdoor screens and lawn games. The dedicated banquet space seats 100, and Visit Colorado Springs lists several more semi-private options, including two side-by-side cabanas (20), a fireside lounge (30) and a heated tent (100). Catering is pub fare scaled up into platters and build-your-own nacho, mac and cheesecake stations. The right call for a company party, the wrong one for a quiet dinner.
Uva Wine Bar
A small Interquest wine bar pouring 40 wines by the glass and more than 200 by the bottle, with the highest diner rating on this list, though from a much smaller pool of reviews than the big restaurants. The private meeting room seats 16 and has AV; taking over the whole place, patio included, gets you to 145. Food is gourmet small plates, meat and cheese boards and shareables rather than a full dinner menu, and they will arrange pairings or a tasting for a group. Best for a wine-led evening of a dozen or so, not a seated three-course dinner.
Summit at The Broadmoor
The Broadmoor's contemporary restaurant, a glass-and-steel room on the resort campus serving cuisine drawn from across the Americas. Its private dining room is two round tables of 11, for 22 seated in total, and there is a semi-private table at the end of the main dining room with a pull-down screen that suits parties of seven to 11. Groups over 12 are asked to pre-select menus when they book. It is among the most expensive rooms here and its diner reviews run a little behind that price, so book it for the setting and the service.
Ristorante Del Lago at The Broadmoor
The Broadmoor's Italian restaurant beside the lake, where the private dining room seats 12 under exposed wood beams, looking onto a 2,000-bottle wine room. It is the smallest private space on this list and the most obviously special-occasion one: a dozen people, a set table, and resort service. Reviews are respectable rather than glowing for the price, and the room books through The Broadmoor's private dining line rather than the restaurant directly.
How we researched this
Private Room Capacity is the largest private space each restaurant states. Nine of the thirteen figures come from the restaurant's own private-dining page; Paravicini's, Di Sopra, ViewHouse and Uva publish no number, so theirs come from a Meetings Today group-dining feature. Diner Rating and Price Level both come from each restaurant's Restaurantji page, so the ratings share one scale, but they rest on very different review counts, from 117 for Prime25 North to 1,453 for Paravicini's. There are no blank cells.
Only restaurants with a stated private-room capacity are listed. That is why only two of The Broadmoor's restaurants appear (the Penrose Room and Restaurant 1858 give no number), and why The Warehouse and The Famous Steak House are missing. Colorado Mountain Brewery's Roundhouse was left out because its rating listing describes a different location, Goat Patch serves no food of its own, and Lumen8 gives no firm number. Prix fixe prices, minimums and holiday rules are the parts most likely to have moved since September 2026, so ask for the current private-dining terms when you inquire.
