Cowboy Star Restaurant & Butcher Shop

Paravicini's Italian Bistro

Frank's Room seats 22 privately and has AV; the Goomba Room holds up to 40 in booths but is only semi-private. The West Colorado Avenue shops and galleries around it make it an easy place to gather a group before dinner.

Ristorante Di Sopra

Paravicini's dressier sister restaurant, upstairs in the same Old Colorado City building, with a menu that leans to cacio e pepe and lobster pappardelle. The upstairs room holds up to 75 and the covered patio, planted with lemon trees and open to cigars, can be split off as a separate space for about 20. They take advance bookings any day of the week, including a full-restaurant buyout, which is what the 75 figure really describes: this is a room you take over rather than a private room off a dining room.

Four by Brother Luck

Chef Brother Luck, of Chopped and Top Chef, cooks Southwestern-leaning food at this North Tejon restaurant. The private option is deliberately small: a chef's table for up to 10 in the Wine Room, with the chef and sommelier walking the table through the menu and pairings. Bigger groups have two other routes, a full buyout of the restaurant or the Studio above his Lucky Dumpling, an event space with a full kitchen and seating for 25. Choose it for a memorable dinner for ten, not for a crowd.

ViewHouse Colorado Springs

Less a restaurant with a private room than an events venue that serves food: a sprawling eatery, bar and rooftop off Campus Drive with Pikes Peak views, indoor and outdoor screens and lawn games. The dedicated banquet space seats 100, and Visit Colorado Springs lists several more semi-private options, including two side-by-side cabanas (20), a fireside lounge (30) and a heated tent (100). Catering is pub fare scaled up into platters and build-your-own nacho, mac and cheesecake stations. The right call for a company party, the wrong one for a quiet dinner.

Uva Wine Bar

A small Interquest wine bar pouring 40 wines by the glass and more than 200 by the bottle, with the highest diner rating on this list, though from a much smaller pool of reviews than the big restaurants.
