Best form builders for agencies

Jotform is the volume workhorse here: over 10,000 ready-made templates, a huge widget and integration catalogue, and limits that stretch a long way before the next tier. Its own pricing FAQ is blunt about the agency trade, though. Enterprise is the only multi-user Jotform plan, so a Bronze seat is one builder, and custom domains only arrive with an Enterprise contract. Best when one person builds forms for many clients, awkward when a team needs to share the work.

Typeform is the one clients recognise by name: one question at a time, heavy on design, and the reason a brief sometimes just says "a Typeform". That polish costs, and the tiering is strict. Branding only comes off at Plus, a real custom domain is Enterprise only, and Basic includes just 100 responses a month, the tightest allowance in this table. Good for a short, beautiful, high-intent form; expensive as a general-purpose client workhorse.

Paperform builds forms that read like landing pages, which is why agencies reach for it on intake, order and booking pages rather than plain data capture. It also runs an Agency+ programme aimed at managing many client brands from one account. Branding comes off at Pro, and custom domains are a paid extra at $20 a month per domain, so a client-branded build costs more than the plan price suggests.

Fillout is the value pick for a team: unlimited seats on every plan including the free one, so there is no per-user maths as an agency grows, and 1,000 responses a month before paying anything. Paid tiers start at $15 a month. Branding removal arrives at Pro and custom domains only at Business, so the fully client-branded version is the $75 tier rather than the headline price.

Formstack sits at the compliance and workflow end of the market, with document generation and e-signature in the same suite, which is why it turns up in agency work for healthcare, finance and government clients. There is no free tier, only a 14-day trial, and the entry Forms plan is one builder seat at $83 a month, making it the most expensive way onto this list. Its public pricing page does not state its branding-removal or custom-domain terms, so ask before committing a client to it.

Cognito Forms is the quiet value option: unlimited forms on every plan, genuinely deep conditional logic and repeating sections, and payments available even on the free tier. Branding comes off at the first paid plan, which is unusually early, and that plan includes two users rather than one. The gap for agencies is hosting: forms live on cognitoforms.com addresses, and the pricing page lists no custom-domain option.

Tally's pitch is that its free plan is not a trap: unlimited forms and unlimited submissions, with payments, signatures and file uploads included at no cost. The paid Pro tier exists mainly to take the branding off, add custom domains and open up shared workspaces, which is exactly the agency shopping list. The builder is deliberately Notion-like, which people either love or find too spare for heavy logic.

Wufoo is one of the originals, now part of SurveyMonkey, and it still handles the basics reliably: templates, rules, reports and payments on the higher tiers. It is cheap at the bottom, starting at $16.25 a month, but the entry tier is tight at 10 forms, 1,000 entries and a single user, and the builder shows its age next to newer tools. There is no custom-domain option, so client forms stay on Wufoo addresses.

Formsite is another long-running builder, aimed at people who need many forms and many results per form rather than one beautiful page. Plans are counted in forms rather than submissions, starting at five forms on Personal, and it keeps a real free level after the trial rather than locking the account. Removing the "Powered by Formsite" trailer requires stepping up to Professional.

Youform is the budget white-label answer: unlimited forms and responses on the free plan, and a Pro tier at $20 a month billed annually that bundles branding removal, custom domains, Stripe payments and up to three team members. That combination usually costs three times as much elsewhere. The trade is that it is a small, young product with a thinner integration list and less track record than the incumbents.

involve.me is less a form builder than a funnel builder: quizzes, calculators and lead-qualification flows with scoring, email automation and a built-in CRM, which suits agencies doing lead generation rather than plain intake. Plans are counted in live funnels rather than submissions, and the entry Start tier is one user and three live funnels. Branding removal and publishing on your own domain both arrive at Grow, so the agency-usable tier is really $69 a month.

Formaloo bundles forms with databases, client portals and small internal apps, so an agency can build the client-facing intake form and the back office behind it in one place. The free plan is unusually generous at unlimited forms and submissions, and Pro at $19 a month adds workflows and PDF generation. Branding removal and unlimited custom domains sit one tier up on Business at $29, which is still cheap for white labelling.
