Nothing brews inside the city itself anymore, because Twisted Trunk Brewing closed in January 2025, so every taproom on this page is a short drive out.
Ratings hardly separate the nine (4.3 at Tequesta Brewing Co., 4.8 at Ocean Republic Brewing), so the decision rests on how you plan to eat and whether the dog is along. Coastal Karma Brewing
A big, deliberately laid-back taproom in Lake Park with a boating theme, model ships on the shelves and a resident cat named Kismet. There is no kitchen here, just snacks behind the bar, and the middle of the room is given over to turf for cornhole, with a disc golf putting league, music bingo and other weeknight events filling the calendar. Civil Society Brewing Co. (Jupiter)

Tequesta Brewing Co.
The oldest brewery on this list, founded in 2011, and the source of beers like Der Chancellor Kolsch that you will find on taps across the county. It has since become Tequesta Smokehouse: the same brewery, now with two custom Texas-built offset smokers and a Central Texas barbecue menu alongside the beer. It bills itself as both family friendly and pet friendly. If you are willing to drive half an hour up US-1, it is the strongest all-round option here.
Copperpoint Brewing Company
An award-winning production brewery in a Boynton Beach commerce park just west of I-95, whose Copperpoint Lager and A-10 Red IPA turn up on taps around South Florida. The taproom is plain and comfortable, with wooden picnic and high-top tables inside and a shaded outdoor deck where dogs are welcome. There is no kitchen; food trucks park outside daily instead. Of everywhere on this list, it is the most straightforwardly beer-first room.
NOBO Brewing Company
Short for North Boynton, a small independent brewery in the same Boynton Beach industrial pocket as Copperpoint, with a taproom and a private event space. It is known for experimental one-offs, with a Jalapeno Honey Blonde as the calling card alongside sours and spiked slushies, and it has recently added a scratch kitchen so you can eat there too. Regulars describe staff who remember them by name, and the weekly calendar runs to music bingo and Taco Tuesday. It reads as the most low-key room on this list, which is much of the appeal.

Brewery roundups for this area, including two dated 2026, still list taprooms that have shut, so each candidate here was checked against its own live website and a search for closures. That removed Twisted Trunk Brewing (closed January 2025), Steam Horse Brewing (September 2024), Mathews Brewing Company in Lake Worth Beach (marked closed in August 2026) and several others. The Brewhouse Gallery in Lake Park and Garden District Taproom were dropped because they serve beer without brewing it, and Boca Raton and Delray Beach breweries sit 35 to 45 minutes out, past several that did make the cut.
